The sale took place on the NFT marketplace OpenSea. The owner of this skin area has the right to commission a temporary body art or a tattoo. King of Leon’s NFT sales generated at least $2 million, with $500,000 donated to Live Nation’s Crew Nation fund that supports live music crews braving the pandemic.

One special thing about this NFT sale is that it is the first time that King of Leon fans have managed to buy an album on blockchain the exact day it launches on a streaming platform.
